Our Story
For more than 270 years, farming has been at the heart of the Metzler family. When our ancestors settled in Pennsylvania in 1750, they brought with them a passion for the land and a dedication to raising exceptional livestock. For generations, Holstein dairy cattle were our family’s pride, with each new bloodline carefully chosen to strengthen the herd and improve the quality of milk.
Today, I am honored to continue that legacy—though my focus is on purebred Black Angus and Wagyu beef cattle. Like my father and grandfather before me, I am committed to improving herd genetics and raising animals with care, respect, and integrity.
We believe that what goes into the soil and into our animals ultimately ends up on your table. That’s why we’ve chosen to move away from genetically modified crops and instead grow wholesome, nutrient-rich grains that are free from GMOs and chemicals. Our cattle are raised on these natural feeds in the most humane way possible, because we believe that healthy animals produce the safest, best-tasting beef.
