Our Story

Our journey began the way many great adventures do: with a spark of curiosity. Mushrooms had always been part of our diet, but only in the way most people know them—something you slice, sauté, and toss into a dish. We had no idea that mushrooms could unlock an entire universe of nutrition, flavor, and wellness. One day, we stumbled across an article describing the medicinal properties of mushrooms like lion’s mane, reishi, and turkey tail. That article led to another, then another, and soon we weren’t just curious—we were hooked. What started as a hobby quickly turned into a passion, and that passion evolved into a purpose. We began experimenting with cultivation in small batches, growing mushrooms for ourselves and our families. The more we learned, the more we wanted to share. We discovered how lion’s mane could support brain health, how reishi promoted calm and balance, how maitake could help support metabolic function, and how turkey tail played an important role in immune wellness. We learned how shiitake absorbs sunlight and converts it into vitamin D—how something so humble could be so powerful. More importantly, we learned that people wanted these benefits, but didn’t always know where to find clean, trustworthy, locally grown mushrooms. So we made a commitment: we would grow mushrooms the right way—carefully, cleanly, and intentionally. We would use organic practices, despite not being certified. We would avoid chemicals. We would grow everything under controlled env
