Fair Winds Farm raises Finnsheep and grow lavender along with keeping several alpaca, a yak, chickens and guinea fowl, a donkey, and the world's friendliest barn cat. Owned and operated by Army veteran Dale and Navy veteran Jan, FWF sells purebred Finnsheep breeding stock, raw and processed fiber and yarns, and lamb and mutton, farm-processed lavender essential oil and other lavender-based products. Using local and exotic woods Dale handcrafts notions and accessories for fiber artists and general use. Jan designs and publishes knitwear patterns and creates unique stitch markers and jewelry. Both tend to the flock, the farm animals and their three whippets.
