Our Story
Meet the beekeepers Chad & Brittany Edwards!
Beekeeping was not a planned business for us. In March 2020, the world shut down due to the pandemic, Chad got laid off from work, and I was sent home to work. 78 days into quarantine, Chad had already flipped and remodeled our mud room, then started on the kitchen. Clearly, we were bored and maybe a little stir crazy, but grateful. Quarantine slowed life down, showed us all the things we forgot we loved, and reminded us of the dreams we had.
We made a decision during this time to be people who did what they said they were going to do and to stop watching life pass us by. Previously we had said “how cool would it be to have bees?!”. So, on May 30, 2020, we woke up and bought our first nuc of bees. No plan, no set up, no equipment, just us and a box of bees!
Since then, life has gone back to normal and we’re all back to the daily grind of life. During these few years, our hives have grown and so have we. This has been one of our most difficult, but also most rewarding journeys yet and we are so happy to share it with all of you! Thank you for supporting us along the way ♥️
